| Located a block or so off High Street, the Hog's Head Inn has been a fixture of Hogsmeade for hundreds of years. A worn-out wooden sign hangs over the door, advertising with a "wild boar's severed head leaking blood onto the white cloth around it" It's known for its cheapness, at least relative to the Three Broomsticks down the street, and attracts a "shall we say... interesting clientele," at least according to Albus Dumbledore.

The station is located near the lake, and from there a road extends around the lake to Hogwarts Castle. The station is actually quite a distance from the town itself, being on the opposite side of the Hogwarts grounds.

In addition to the standard wizarding candy that is sold there, the owners also make their own fudge. For obvious reasons, the shop is quite a popular destination for Hogwarts students when visiting Hogsmeade on the weekends.
| 1 | 4 | Mon May 09, 2011 12:09 am Harper Mason | | A small, cramped tea shop with decor on the tacky side of frilly (such as floating golden cherubs throwing pink confetti), located ust off High Street. The only Hogwarts students who seem to patronize the place are trysting couples.
| 0 | 0 | | | Falsely rumored to be "the most haunted building in Britain," the Shrieking Shack is a favorite stop on any Hogsmeade visit. Old and creaky, with floors that are rotted, the shack holds more than just secrets...but possibly patrons?

It's warm and comfortable, is packed and is a great spot to drink butterbeer, although they also serve firewhisky, gillywater, mulled mead, red currant rum, and even cherry syrup and soda with ice and an umbrella.
| 2 | 24 | Wed May 11, 2011 10:42 pm Xander Colson | | Zonko's is a favourite place for Hogwarts students to shop. They carry "jokes and tricks to fulfill even Fred's and George's wildest dreams," including Dungbombs, Hiccup Sweets, Frog Spawn Soap, and Nose-Biting Teacups.
