Diagon Alley

Diagon Alley is a cobble-stoned, wizarding shopping area located in London, England, behind a pub called the Leaky Cauldron. It holds a variety of assorted restaurants, wizarding shops and other interesting attractions. Most students journey here to get their school supplies and books, however it is not uncommon to see people enjoying an ice cream or a cup of tea at a local tea shop.

St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries

The entrance to St. Mungo's is concealed behind an abandoned red-brick London department store called Purge and Dowse, Ltd. on a Muggle street. Inside, in a reception area filled with rickety wooden chairs and outdated issues of Witch Weekly, visitors are greeted by the Welcome Witch, though her demeanor (at least on busy days) is less than welcoming. This reception area seems to double as a visitors' entrance and an emergency room waiting area, as it is often filled with wizards facing strange ailments, such as hands sprouting out of their chests or steam pouring from their mouths, and Healers clad in uniform lime green robes hurry busily through the room.

The Ministry of Magic

The Ministry has its headquarters in London. It consists of numerous Departments, Committees, Boards, and Offices whose job it is to make and enforce laws and regulations. Besides keeping the activities of Witches and Wizards hidden from the Muggles (and swooping in with Memory Charms when things get out of hand), the Ministry also handles commerce and international relations.

Hogsmeade Village

Hogsmeade is the only entirely wizarding village in Britain. According to tradition it was founded over a though years ago, around the same time as Hogwarts. It's a picturesque little village of thatched cottages and shops, enchanted candles hanging in the trees during the holidays.

Mountainous Region

An area covered in a thick, green, sea of trees.Caves surround the area and there are many mysterious caverns as well as waterways that spin and spiral around through the grounds. It is beautiful and tranquil, but also contains several dark secrets that dwell deep within. People are advised to never go alone, and campers usually prefer staying as close to the mouth of the forest as possible...rumors that once a person goes in, they never come back out, haunting the area with a subtle air of mystery.

Knockturn Alley

Just around the corner from Diagon Alley lies a dark, twisting alleyway devoted to the Dark Arts: Knockturn Alley. From the shops and the street vendors one can purchase, among other things, shrunken heads, poisonous candles, human-looking fingernails, and Flesh-Eating Slug Repellent.

Muggle London

London is a beautiful city in the lovely country of England. It has many sites to be admired, and just as the muggles of the world do Wizards choose to admire it as well. From the beautiful shores that surround it, to the lovely little shops and restaurants, there are a million places to see and things to do.
