| Chace walked through the city streets unsure of where he was going. Today was his day off from the Club and though he normally spent it with Hayden doing something stupid his best friend had to work when one of their employees had called in sick. That mishap had certainly put a damper in his plans. Chace wasn’t the type of person to not have something to do. His personality ensured that since he was bored within minutes of not having anything to occupy his time.
He continued his walk trying to figure out what to do. He was dressed rather casually but that usually didn’t matter. He wasn’t the type to go into fancy places anyway. Although, their business was very successful and the young entrepreneurs could be called rich they rarely acted like it. Chace, for example, was very laid back. He didn’t have to spend a lot of money to be happy, although it helped. Without realizing it he ended up in the small village of Clacton.
He paused at the edge, where the concrete gave way to sand and stared at the ocean. Had he been a romantic he would have gazed in wonder at the beauty before him. As it was, he appreciated the sight but was still incredibly bored. Deciding that perhaps a swim would help clear his mind he took off his shoes and walked onto the beach, the hot sand burning his feet only slightly. He took off his shirt, transfiguring his underwear into swimming trunk before removing his pants as well. Folding his clothes into his messenger bag he set it down and ran into the water.
The cold water hit his body like a brick and he dunked himself in before he could register it. He emerged from the water flinging his wet hair away from his face before letting him float with the current. Although this had turned out better than he had hoped, he still wished he had at least some sort of company. Silence and the boy didn’t get along very well.
